The short version

As of the date above, Air Tool Match collects no personal information. There are no accounts, no forms that send data anywhere, no newsletter, and no analytics or advertising scripts installed.

This page describes the site as it exists in pre-launch. It will be updated before any of the items in the last section go live.

What happens when you use the matcher

The matcher runs entirely in your browser. The tool, compressor, quantity, and rating you select are used to show a result on the page and are not sent to a server or stored by the site.

The site's code is written to be able to report a completed comparison to an analytics tool if one is installed. None is installed at the time of writing, so nothing is reported.

Cookies and local storage

The site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser's local storage.

Links to other sites

Every record links to the manufacturer page it was read from. Those pages belong to the manufacturers and have their own privacy practices, which this site does not control.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may keep standard server logs such as the IP address and time of a request. Its handling of that data is governed by Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

What will be disclosed here before it changes

Each of the following is a pre-launch item. None is active now. Before any of them is switched on, this page will be updated to say what is collected, by whom, and why:

• Web analytics.
• Advertising. Article pages reserve labelled, empty space for it. When an advertising network is added, it may use cookies or similar technology, and this page will describe that and any choices available to you.
• Affiliate links.
• An email list or contact form.
