How the figures on this site may be relied on, and how they may not.
What you are reading
Air Tool Match publishes figures transcribed from manufacturers' specification pages, a tool that compares two of those figures at the same pressure, and guides that explain what the figures mean. Using the site means accepting the terms below. They will be revised as the site completes its public launch.
The figures are the manufacturers' figures
Each record shows a manufacturer's published value, the label the manufacturer used, the pressure it was stated at, the source page, and the date that page was read. The site aims to transcribe accurately, but it does not guarantee that a figure is current, complete, or free of transcription error. Source pages can change after the checked date. Check the linked source before relying on any figure.
The comparison is arithmetic, not advice
The matcher multiplies a published tool figure by a quantity and subtracts it from a published compressor figure, only when both are stated at the same PSI and the compressor figure is labelled CFM. That is all it does.
The result is not a recommendation to buy, install, or run any equipment. It does not establish that a compressor is adequate for a tool, and it takes no account of duty cycle, tank or receiver size, regulator setting, hose, fittings, electrical supply, altitude, temperature, installation, or pressure safety. Decisions on those matters need a qualified professional. The site provides no engineering, safety, or professional advice.

Manufacturer and product names appear only to identify the source of a published figure. They are trademarks of their owners. Air Tool Match is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any manufacturer named on the site.
Using the site's own content
The site's own text, layout, and code are its own work. You may read, link to, and quote from it with attribution. Do not republish it wholesale or present it as your own. Figures transcribed from manufacturers remain the manufacturers' published information.
Advertising and affiliate links
None is active as of the date above. Article pages reserve clearly labelled, empty advertising space. If advertising or affiliate links are added, this page and the privacy page will say so.
Changes and governing law
These terms may change; the date at the top of the page is the date of the current version. The governing law and the legal entity responsible for the site are pre-launch items and will be stated here before public launch.
